PICS: Almost no ugly people at the Annual Serpentine Gallery Summer Garden Party
Understated chic was clearly the order of the day, with Amber le Bon, Lydia Hearst and Jade Parfitt working flowing chiffon frocks and minimal accessories. Elsewhere, Holly Valance and Zara Martin look overdressed in comparison, and not in a good way.
We really love Sophie Dahl’s big-button shift dress, striking the perfect balance for a garden party, and Tracey Emin’s red wrap dress is great. Style winners are Erin O’Connor, channelling and updating the Roaring Twenties, and John and Simone Rocha working father daughter style like total pros.
